Good point tull, already got my tag on the way for doe. But I didnt even think of that option and definately would be better off with furtakers in a split season wmu. It might even get me back into more calling and/or trapping if i were to do so. I used to buy a furtakers all the time for fox huntin', & trappin'. Fur prices being what they are and had so much other stuff going on for me and hunting partners in the fall that i kinda got away from it. Really miss it too. Still hunt coyote once in awhile though.

Just gotta watch if hunting coyotes with a furtakers that you are not "participating" in the hunt if your hunting companions are deer hunting in the area.

In years I filled my buck tag in archery, I looked forward to being able to carry my rifle with doe tags in my posession sneaking for my buddies and sitting in some stands.  Pass up most of the does I see put have come close to whacking a coyote the last two years.
