sharks in obx nc

I'm new to this forum i was reading shark fishing stories and stumbled on this forum I'm from Pa SO THIS IS A COOL FORUM I like it so I joined. Anyways saw some posts on big shark fishing and I just got back from obx nc sharkin did pretty good hooked 4 landed 2 one was an 8ft sand tiger with a mouth full of teeth pretty cool got some nice pics of that monster, maybe when I figure out how to use this forum I could post 1 or 2 of them. Also caught some blues which made nice bait for the sharks and a big freakin eel cut the line on that thing hate um. Anyone needs some info on the shark fishin down there let me know maybe I could help.

    Thanks for the offer. Where were you fishing at? I usually fish around Avon, or go out in a boat from Teach's marina.

    I was up in corolla almost straight out from the ocean sands water tower. Kayaked bait out about 2-300yds.

    toothsnhooks, stumbled upon your post and saw the pic in the catfish post, badazz looking shark by the way. Im heading down there next week and didnt know if you had any tips. Rigging, bait, etc. Will be in Duck and looking to catch anything of a decent size. I see online alot of people use pyramid weights and cut bait off piers and the shores. Would appreciate any tips. Thanks.
