Need some info please.

I will be coming up to Erie for a few days this week with my daughter and would like to do some fishing.I want her to catch some fish.Are there smallmouth in the creeks or did they run back to the lake?Also what other species are in the creeks this time of year?What kind of bait to use?All the info you guys give me will be greatly appreciated.

    Take her out on the Edward John or the other perch fishing boat.

    If she wants to catch fish , take her to any dock or pier in and around PI and you can catch as many gills you want and maybe a few nice largemouth while your at it. Use a small jig and tip it with some grubs or minnow under a float and have fun.

    I may be doing this tomorrow on ultra light tackle.

    IF YOU WANNA CATCH EM ME AND MY BROTHER JESSE COULD SHOW YOU AROUND THE PLACE AND HELP YOU GET ONTO SOME BIG BASS OR CATS RIGHT NOW. LIVE SHINERS HAVE BEEN WORKING THE GREATEST. I WOULDN'T GO TO THE DOCK OR THE PIER CUZ WE WAS THERE LAST NIGHT AND PROBLY CAUGHT MOST OF THE FISH. WE CAUGHT THAT MANY. I KNOW THERE WAS A GUY THAT SAW. HE KEPT STARING.
