Allegheny in Pittsburgh

I'm gonna be in Pittsburgh this weekend and want to fish the Allegheny. Does anyone have any success below the first two dams in Pittsburgh? What do you catch, access points, etc.

Thanks

give lock 3 a shot - you can park at the manufacturing facility across the street from lock 3 bait and tackle and walk down over the rocks to some pretty good shore fishing - or, wade into the river downstream abit (just below the steel hull) and there's a narrows with good flow and a deep hole below - like mentioned earlier, you can catch about anything - use minnows and worms.
