MOUTH CALL PRESS

I just order a mouth call jig from thad at feather ridge.I bought the comp. press with the tab bender and tension gauge.I was wondering if anyone could give me some in sight on how tight to stretch the latex?

    Sorry I don't and have never made latex mouth calls. I have heard guys talking about that different latexes make different sounds depending on the thickness and stretch. Maybe just experiment until you find one you like.
    You might contact Kill-R-Calls. He a pretty good guy and might share some info with you.

    O.A is correct, it depends on the type latex and thickness and different stretch will change the tone somewhat. Try different ideas and find one that suits you. Not everyone can make a particular call produce the tone they want.
