Curwensville lake

Might be heading here on Monday and was wondering if there are any good places to fish from shore and is there heavy boat traffic?

    There are lots of decent places to shore fish, some are easier to get to than others!
    Easy access in the area of the boat ramps and the beach.
    Way upstream you might want to look for the Lumber City bridge and venture down along the top part of the lake where the river comes in.
    Way, way upstream near Curry Run bridge you might do good on the smallies.
     
    As for boat traffic...this weekend will be crazy there since it is a holiday.
    The speed-demons will be out in force, as usual...and you won't get much calm water to fish near the beach or the first bend!
