A Memorable Weekend Fishing Adventure!

My friend Avid and I took the boy up to Erie this weekend to open up camp and do some fun fishing this weekend. Decided to hit the bay Saturday and the weather finally cooperated with us for a change. We hit a couple of my old hot spots from back in the day up near the outlet, but they didn't produce much for us at all, so we decided to venture around a bit. Headed towards the head of the main bay to fish around a big shoal across from the Marina. We never had to leave the drop offs of that big shoal which produced 30 or so smallies and largemouth. We just had a ball....man, those smallies really can put up a fight pound for pound! Bright colored cranks were the ticket.












Oh yeah...theres a fish kill in the bay...LOL
