Wow!  Smoked the bass yesterday, IDK how many, 40 perhaps.  Caught around 15 keeper monster gills, all released.  Established(finally) nice base coat for sun tan.   Parking lot was at full capacity all day.  Meat eaters were all anchored over Crappie.  Shoulda been there yesterday!

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. The closer we adhere to the Holy Bible and the US Constitution (as it was written) the closer we get to the model that made America great. The great American experiment worked, human nature just got in the way.

Visited Greenlick Sat, 5/28.  Took my son and his girlfriend.  Wasn't near as good last week, same weather, same water temps, less people.  We each caught a few bass, most were caught with Slimer tipped jigs. Caught a few more jumbo 'gills, all on Slimers.

I was there on Saturday evening with my 5 year old son. The fish wanted no parts of his worms but they couldn't stay away from anything my flyrod flung out there. I casted and hooked and he pulled them in. 10 nice bluegills in less than an hour. When we left I cut off the fly and gave it to a young fella who was fishing with his daughter. He wasn't flyfishing but hopefully he was able to use it to get his daughter hooked up with some fish.
