Colt Model 57 Belgian made .30-06 Rifle

This is one of just 2 guns of my original 12 that I still have for sale.  The other 10 have all been sold.   I'd like to thank FishUSA for letting me post so many gun ads here.  I'd like to thank OhioGamefishing.com even more.  And I'd like to thank The Weekender newsletter out of Uniontown for also printing my free ads.    All 10 guns were sold by one of these methods.    PM me, as of 10/28/11 this gun is still available and is dead-on accurate.   Get it while it lasts, it's all sighted in, ready to shoot and buck season starts in just 4 weeks and 3 days.   Go to Dix Sporting Goods or Gander Mtn and look at the new 30.06's and compare.

It is still for sale.   Very accurate gun.   Groups < 1" at 100 yards, with sand bags of course.     Hope someone buys it.  It belonged to my dad.    He bought it around 1957, hence the name Colt 57.    It has a mauser action called the FN Mauser.  The action was made in Belgium.     The gun was assembled in Hartford, CT.    Colt never built alot of high powered rifles until they became associated with a thing called the M-16 in Vietnam and later Sauer in the 1970's.   For you serial number freaks my buddy says the FN Mauser is worth some money especially if the S/N is < 5000.   However this S/N is 5521.
