Crappie Tips

Went out this weekend trying to find some crappie, no luck. I have not really fished for them so I dont know what exactly I should be doing. I herd the teens of May is when to go, and live minnows should do the trick. Anyone have any tips?

    Use a slip bobber with a 11/2 " tube and minnow.Get it to the bottom near a drop off around 6-8 ft.
    Brush is your friend...:)

    Ive had great success with a crappie magnet, figured we'd try them out since we got them for free to test. Those suckers are awesome.
