EATON
Fished this morning with two friends everybody had their own boat we covered the place, basically fished in the same manner
1/4 ounce jigs with bass pro shops triple ripple 4 inch tails, we've been fishing this way for 30 years up there as far as walleye's are concerned this lake is dead. Every year now it's the same thing we catch one or two fish 20 to 28 inches and no other size, this year the tally when i left was 7 northerns all the same size, a few bite offs (most assuredly northerns) 1 largemouth (17or so inches) 7 crappies 2 on the 1/4 oz. jig and i also trolled a small rapala in the big cove and caught the other 5. My one friend caught the only walleye same senerio 21 inches. This used to be such a fishy lake to bad the fish commission wouldn't spend more time studying these inland lakes (Lebeouf,Edinboro) and the like to make them a better fishery.
