High water...

Looked out in the backyard this morning and saw a bunch of little white flags waving in the breeze. Went to check on them and found each one was in a night crawler hole. Even the night crawlers are surrendering. At least it cleared off long enough for me to get the grass cut this afternoon (1st time this year)..LOL Just wish I could send some rain to Texas.
Went over to Pymie yesterday afternoon...never saw Pymie this high before.

Chuckles - gotta agree, up to visit the parents last weekend and it is highest Ive seen in 25 years of going up.  should interesting for late fall early spring fishing.  hope the rains let up, Ive dusted off the chicken bones and plan to dance around them later this evening to see if i can ward off the rains.  Call to put the boat in and the marina said just wait, not enough free-board on the dock to safely put in...

i have been fishing that lake since 1973 and have never seen it this high. cannot even get close to some of my wading haunts. that being said, i live south of youngstown, ohio and every day the lake gets a little closer to home, and with the price of gas, i say let it rain.
