Loyalhanna creek 4/24

I was wondering if anyone drove past by Loyalhanna creek this weekend? I was planning to take my dad and his friend (both in there 70's and don't like to wade if they can't see the bottom) fishing tomorrow Monday but didn't want to waste the gas if it was flowing high and muddy. I looked at the stream gauge but I don't know what level it fishes well and of course the gauge doesn't indicate clarity.

If anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it.

I drove past it today and it was a little high and fast but clear.  Sorry if this is to late but didn't make the trip till this morning.

Pretty much just echoing dave, and adding a vote of confidence to his appriasal.

Depending on where you plan to fish it, you'll probably do okay, but not fantastic. There was a dUUd fishing Kingston yesterday, but I was on my way to smaller water and didn't stop to ask how he was doing.

Ended up fishing both Laurel HIll and Loyalhanna. Stream conditions were okay. A little high and fast but clear. I ended up c&r 16 total. There are a lot of fish left in both streams.

Was strictly a prospecting trip. The blueline turned out to be a brownline.
