I'd keep an eye on craigslist. There is a used one on the pittsburgh boat section right now for a 14 to 16ft boat for $200.

I looked on craigslist the other day and didn't see anything. I see what your talking about though. Thanks. If for some reason the guy gets rid of it before I can talk to him is there anywhere else you could suggest? I'm not familiar with to many boat places in the area.

You could call or check out Route 8 Marine. They were as helpful as possible when I was there. I'm not sure if they have a used stock, but they might point you somewhere. Otherwise, grab a horse trader and scour craigslist.

    Rainbow,
Trailers alone can be very hard to find... certainly watch CL and local newspapers. Another source may be a search on Oodle.com.
If you are in need of one in the near future you may want to check some of the older 'project' boats for sale with trailers (though you do want to make sure a title comes with trailer or you may have another headache to deal with). You can probably pay to have the boat taken at a junk yard and have a trailer to use.
Another thing, google boat and trailer sales in your local area. Many boat dealers (new or used) also can get trailers or may have them in stock even. It depends what you want to pay.
I don't know the area you are in specifically so sorry can't provide any specific links.
    Good luck on your search.

Thanks for the info Fisherlady on the trailer. May as well thank you for some info I got from some of your other posts about big cats. Should come in handy this year.

Snag, do you have a title for your revamped trailer?

    Marty,
Your ability to find stuff on the net never fails to amaze me ... I never even thought of harbor freight when thinking of boat trailers. I see they do have some other trailer accessories though. Thanks for the link!

"do you have a title for your revamped trailer?"

THAT is exactly the question you should ask when you find any boat trailer, PennDOT is a real bunch of (expletive deleted) when you are trying to title a boat trailer without an existing title.

    Good luck in your search...
