Bait Shop Glendale

Anyone know if the little bait shop off of Beaver Valley Rd. by the campground at Glendale is open?? Heard that maybe it might not open. Thinking of heading up and can get minnows in J-town but like to get them as close to the lake as possiable. Any crappie action yet??

    i was there on Thursday and the one at the end of the road near glendale lake road is open after closing for winter...but yes uncle phils has bait as well...the crappie were hittin nice before that cold front!

    Ok went up on Sunday and like I thought we got rained out. Couldn't even pull under the bridge because a bunch of guys were fishing it from both shore sides. Marked some fish but couldn't give them a good effort. Really windy also. The Bait store out by the campground (Ten in One Buyers Mart) Mon.-Sat. 6-6 and Sun. 6-5. Water temp 55-56 deg. probably a little cold yet. Crappie should be moving up to stage soon I hope.
