Lawrence County for me.....I hear it's gonna be warm opening day...I hope not cause people just sit and don't move the deer around when it's warm.

    STEALYS,
With the way this fall has gone. Do you think that gun season will be any different(weather wise) from bow season. Don't be surprised to see the 3W's (warm, wet and windy)

Heading to the dead area (North Central PA), only reason I still hunt the area to so I can go see family and friends for Thanksgiving and try to get my young cousins some shooting.  Good luck.

I'll be in 1B until I fill my doe tag, then off to the deerless zone for the remainder of the Saturdays.w_w.

If it has fins and gills, I'm there.

    Funny last day story.

I was with a group of guys putting on some small drives saturday.  My son sat with a friend while I walked this drive.  I was carrying my .44 mag and figured If a doe was stupid enough to stand their and look at me I would let it have it.  Anyhow.  I worked my way into a thicket of Multifloral rosebushes, blackberries, and vines.  I looked around for about 3 minutes from the same spot to see if I could spot a deer laying around me.  Once I was convinced there was no deer around, I took the walking stick I had and slammed it off a sapling next to me to make some noise.  When I did, a deer jumped up 10 yards away directly in front of me scaring the s**t out of me.  I just thought it was funny, me, the great white hunter looking so hard to see deer and their 10 yards away.  LOL
