LEADER ?

I my reel spooled up with some power pro but what kind of leader u guys use this is on my musky rod I was going with some flocarmon?

    Metal leader between 6 and 9" long in the 30-40 pound range.

    id buy a few flourocarbon, steel, titanium see what you like.... i use steel, buddy uses floro, another doesnt even use a leader i wouldnt advise it but its whatever... gunna start making my own soon its more cost effective. do some reasearch online and go from there

    30-40# leaders are not adequate by any stretch of the imagination for muskies.  I am assuming you will be using at least 60# braid and it wouldn't make much sense for your leader to be the limiting strength component in your setup. 
     
    Whatever leaders you choose just make sure they use premium ball bearing swivels.  The 30# Berkely ones available are barely sufficient for perch.

    18" Stealth 100# Fluro for pulling blades and cranks and 36" Stealth 100# for trolling. Reel loaded with 80# Power Pro braid.
