Mill Run or Indian creek

Me and my friend are going out tomorrow to catch some brook trout, both creeks were stocked with them i was just kind of curious to what creek is better.  Indian creek looks like the one we will be going to because it has both brown and brook trout in the delayed harvest section, but if it isnt any good id rather not go there. If there is somewhere better that we could go pm me, we are coming from Mononghela and dont want to drive more than an hour, thanks for any info

Indian may still be high and is pretty crowded with streamside trees and shrubs. If that's okay with you, it really is some beautiful scenery on a beautiful creek. Try venturing outside the DHALO too.

indian creek is flowing high, but clear. it's had almost 0 action so far. it's just been too high and muddy. the DHALO area is nice, but i'd go downstream and take the chance at brookies, browns, bows, and goldens. they stock an unbelievable amount of fish in there. plus, the mine drainage has been diverted and cleaned before it flows into indian creek, so there are a lot of hold over fish now. instead of dead in a week fish like there was while i was a kid.

Thanks for the heads up, fm. I usually hit the DH or Camp when I'm in that area, but I'll have to check out the lower area now.

If I'm headed out tomorrow I'll shoot you a line. Should be getting a new pole in a few days too.
