Pucker Brush Creek Loaded!! -YE-hAA!!

The Salmon river and most surrounding area's today were loaded, that we saw.
We saw more Steelhead today then all season. We counted approx. 100 or more. We played w/ many and landed some. We also walked away from many and did not fish for them, due to the dropping water levels and not wanting to stress them out and allow many of them to run out of these area's that had dropping water levels.

Again, this should be a late season into Mid-May! Yee-Haa!
-
The water level dropped mid-day to approx. 2,500 cfs w/ 210 cfs in run-off, approx. Pinevile was approx. 2,710 mid -day.
-
Forecast is 1.800.

I had a father and two sons today that were brand new. They made me proud to be there guide. Fish galore!!!
-
Looked to me that all of these fish were fresh. Maybe some from the hatchery? That would be my guess as I was seeinig a lot more than recently.
