Need help starting a new fishing club for all waters

Looking for other fishermen with the time and desire to start a fishing club that targets all waters and a variety of fish species. I fish the Lake Erie, Lake Ontario, the Three Rivers, Pymatuning, Lake Arthur, Mosquito Lake, North Park Lake, Glades Run, Hereford Manor, and many more lakes and streams. I fish for many different species year round to include boat, shore and ice fishing. I'm not aware of any local clubs that focus on all types of fishing.

Some of the things I would like to accomplish with this club would be: Member tournaments, monthly meetings to include Technics, speakers and presentations, take a kid fishing day or days, local club picnics or outings, monthly newsletter, website, fishing forums, and more.

This would be a non profit organization registered with the State and Federal Governments.

I am currently a member of a club that focuses strictly on Great Lakes fishing and have just resigned as a board member. I feel this could be a really good thing for most fishermen that fish for different fish in different waters.

If interested please respond via private message.

Any input from my fellow fishermen would be greatly appreciated! Also need help on establishing a catchy name.

I start a new job on April 25th that is going to seriously cut into my fishing time. I'm not sure what time I'll have for a month or so but I do know I'll have weekends off. I might be interested but need a little time to figure out what kind of schedule I'll have.

Keep me up here and if you get to where you need 1 or 2 more guys, get back to me. I'll send you a PM when I get some more clarification. I may have another guy interested too...

    Count me in too !

My wife told me that if I didn't stop fishing every day, she'd leave me. Some days, I really miss her.

Excellent I have a few other people interested now and it's looking positive to start the new club. The hurdle will be getting it started and I believe it will take off after a website and a little advertising.
