Times up?

A couple of us Pittsburgh guys are thinking about making the trip up to the Tribs (elk and mile creeks) at the end of next week (Thursday).  I haven't seen much action in regards of steelhead.  Are they still being caught?  Does it even seem like it's worth the drive at this point?

I'm hoping with all the anglers in the water they will become finicky and not feed for those first couple days....and then be really hungry Thursday.  Are guys still catching them as of the last couple days?

And by a couple of us I literally meant me and one other person.....so we're not bringing an army to take all the fish.

I would head upstream most of the trout fishing. I agree a lot will get picked over but most of the fresher fish that made the final run did go upstream just a tad from all this rain so I would go for it but try to stray away from the stocked trout areas where most of those anglers are. As also most of those fish in those pools will be finicky with guys throwing spinners for trout near them. And in addition I'm pretty sure your not driving from Pittsburgh to catch stockies. Good luck!
