A day in the life of a steelhead
We had a wonderful time today helping the local resources introduce around four thousand smolts today. Autumn supervised the entire operation and got a good look at her new found aquatic friends. By the time shes ready to fish for them she may just run into a familiar fin. Never too soon to get em started. The highlight of the day was when she touched one she tried to eat it  . Loaded up and ready to go.........  The Bounty....  Gettin to work.....  Superviser on Quality Control.....  Checking the progress....  A little closer look.....  Sending them off to thier new home....  Stocking Steelhead is tiring work......

That kind of day is priceless! Glad to see you were finally able to get out and about and enjoy the change in the weather. She'll be catching those fish in no time! Thanks for posting the pics

shes going to have to help my son get a job! that is a fantastic day i still remember my sons first stocking at west newton. kid loved seein tho fish!

It defintely was an amazing day I do have to say. It was the first time for Daddy, Mommy and Autumn. So it was defintely well worth the trip and the over tired baby! Can't wait to take her fishing and let her see the big fish!
