what fly ???

want to start flyfishing. what type of fly would you use on the first day of trout? fishing at ,cross fork, potter county. Thanks for any help

    I hate to say it but marty is prob very accurate. A single orange, yellow or white egg would work well, or maybe a San Juan worm in natural.
