Poaching Rant
yesterday my two boys and I went down to local stream we fish on the first day of trout to throw some bread in. There were two guys fishing. Wish I had my cell on me or I would a called the commission.
these guys were catching them left and right. one was fishing withe the fly rod, i told them opening day is next week and they gave me the bird and said all your doing witht that bread is killing the fish anyway.
I'm going back tonight with my cell. I bet they will be back. All this money I pay for a license and these guys are poaching. Kids were drinking to. I kept my cool and just went to the car. No need for the boys to see me in rare form.

My favorite way is saying that 2 guys upstream got busted and wow the commission is everywhere. The commission does all they can but lets face it they can't be everywhere, just have fun messing with them

I graduated in 2008, live in Western PA now. Yes, several creeks around the Centre region make for some great fishing.

Please copy and paste from where in the regulations it says you cannot feed fish in a stream. I'm calling BS. I know lots of guys including myself that will take bread, corn, salmon eggs while letting kids feed the fish.

I was just showing my boys and making sure there were actually SOME fish around. especially after last year we went and didnt catch a single one after throwing just about every bait i know of.
is halupki a commissioner that is corrupt?

sorry for not knowing the swing of things around here just yet. i catch on pretty quick. i remember back when computers were just coming out and i swore i would never use one. then my company switched from paper to this technology and i caught on quick.
i hope you guys arent telling me i need to be on meds. not too nice to the new guy in town.

all of you,
i'm just concerned about my money n where it is all going. if feeding the bread is illegal then thats just nuts in my mind. i was showing my boys a good time and trying to excite them about fishing. isn't that what we are all here to do?
im serious about my company. we were better off without this technology. something is always broke and we had to hire a guy just to fix stuff when it goes bad. kid talks in some other language. society is breaking down in america.

I see pali's and other trout magically dissapear prior to opening day all the time, the PAFBC can't be everywhere. Best thing to do is take a pic of the license plate and forward it to the PAFBC. I also like the idea of telling them some guys got busted upstream. That should get them to leave. Unless you have back-up as TastyTrout suggested, it's not worth getting into a fight over. You never what can happen, they could have knives/guns a club even. Not worth getting killed over a few trout, you have kids to think about. Just do what you can with pics , phone calls or e-mails.If the location is on private property, contact the landowner and see if they will get involved. Even trail cameras are a good idea that have been mentioned before on this site. Put a sign up that says "smile you are video". haha.. Just do what you can and that's all you can do. People are idiots and that will never change....
