yellow creek

Went there for Crappie, which didn't work out. The Northerns made up for it,first time for my bud with the toothy ones. He loves it now. Water was a little off color & a little high. There were a few boats out practicing for a derby. sam

Were they hitting Crappie rigs? Minnows on jigs, etc...fishing for crappie and ending up catching northerns is a pretty good day I say!

I was jigging for Crappie from shore to no avail, then decieded to get some shiners from Riddles, started to catch Northerns floating them & also got a few on a Johnsons Silver Minnow with a trailer. Not many guys fishing from shore ,but those that we saw were catching pike. sam
