Jacobs Creek Park(Greenlick)

Lot of people out there over the weekend. Several boats on the water almost all day long Sunday with more folks fishing the shore. One boater I talked to said he caught a bunch of crappie with several being keepers. Another shore fisherman said he had caught several(ambiguous term)nice bass. I fished for about 90 minutes and never had a hit. I came back today and fished for almost three hours and releasd a 16 and 17 inch bass and one 22 inch walleye. Little difficult casting into that southern gail this afternoon. Took pictures with the phone but have no idea of how to move them over to this area.

my friend was out there earlier this week. he said he caught a lot of bass and lost what he thought might have been a nice eye. he said he got it close enough to see, but couldn't get a real good look at it before it got off. i'm thinking about giving it a try tomorrow.

Hey Wally, where did you catch the fish at? Boat or shore? Been a while since I had any luck at Greenlick. I may go throw some crankbaits out there soon. I was watching Fish Fishburne kill em with surface baits from a treestand (yes, a treestand) yesterday and it's got me itching to get out there.

Shore fishing with cranks along the monument side. Was out there today and never had a hit. Lot of people there today - 25 cars at one point and six boats plus yaks and canoes. Nice day to just be outside.

I was one of those boats Wally from 10:30am until 3:45pm, at least. Slow bite overall. I was focusing on panfish/crappie.

Has anybody ever trolled worm harnesses at Greenlick? Going to give it a try early next week with harnessess and deep cranks.

I've tried a couple times and never had any luck but that doesn't say that you won't. At the very least, you should be able to hook up with some of the ample largemouth that are in there. When trolling Wilhelm or Glendale, I always catch plenty of largemouth as by-catch.
