Kinzua Browns

Couple of Browns from this week.
First one broke the cherry on my new 4 wt. that I built.

Second one was from today, only fish of the day for me.
Did get to fish with a couple of those trout bums today though.
Thank You much for the screws TS...

That was an orange bead bugger..
Still a little cold up here for the top.
Might check petro today and see if the stoneflies are active.

Great pics and pretty trout. Got me thinkin about fishing there. Couple guys I know like it down by the Glade bridge. I'm there off and on all summer but it's always taking some lady in the kayak for an island picnic, should ditch the ladies for a fly rod.

    Nice fishing with you guys.
Bings, that 4 wt of yours came out fantastic, especially for a first build.
Also nice to have some bonus water to fish. Usually tthe flow is much higher this time of year.
I'm always game to fish up there if anyone wants to go.

the 2wt skip made dano and the 4wt bings made with the help of skip are both class A rods ! couldn't believe it when i saw them ...geeez guys . had a good day fishing even though the fish didn't cooperate too well. I guess the lore of those big browns and the humbling expieriences keeps bringing us maniacs back again

That's the problem up there this time of year. More than once back when I fished it a lot I got caught in one of their springtime increased discharges. There has been a couple fellows who had to leave their gear on the island and swim back. Now is the time to move up a couple hundred yards and shore fish.
