WOODCOCK SPILLWAY

I will be fishing for muskies on the firt day of trout Here is one of the many stories that I have to talk about fish woodcock spillway all the time, about 5 years ago on the first day of walleye. I got 2 walleyes 1- 24" and another about 27". When the fish warden stops and talk to me witch he comes down and checks every year. I told them it was down on the yellow stringer, so he went down to check there were 3 walleyes on it. 1-24" 1-27" and 1-12" walleye, when he showed it to me I told him THAT WASN'T MY FISH. He said BUT ITS ON YOUR STRINGER. I told him that wasn't mine, when I started to get LOAD ABOUT IT, this woman came over and told her it was MY FISH. He said DO YOU KNOW THIS PERSON, I TOLD HIM NO I DON'T IT WAS THE ONLY STRINGER THERE AND I WANTED TO KEEP IT. It cost the woman $80.00 in fines. BOY AM I GLAD SHE CLAIMED THAT FISH

It's not how deep you fish...It's how you wiggle your worm.

I fished the first day of trout fishing, I got 2 muskies 1 35" and the other 38". I got both of them on perch live bait with NO STEEL LEADER, because they can see the line.

Whats the trick to Woodcock? I have fished there several times with no luck on the lake or below the outflow.
