New Pline

Anyone use this stuff?  I know it's not as expensive as their true Flurocarbon or as the Halo series...  I have been using Fluroclear for the past 2 spool fills on my Diawa Fuego 2500, and just curious if anyone knows anything about it.  I'm looking to change from Fluroclear even though I love the abrasion resistance, the real strength isn't what i'd expect for it being 8lb line, I may just go back to YoZuri Hybrid 8lb...

This is the cats butt. I have used it for over 10 years. The breaking strength is probably higher then what is marked on the package.....WF

I might have gotten a bad spool, I mean... It does happen some times, or it was just a section of my line that took abuse because I didn't strip and snip it like I normally do by about the middle of the season, I usually take about 20-30' off the spool cause it's pretty big spool... I mean don't get me wrong i'm not saying i'd never buy it again, just it could be my fault...  I love the abrasion resistance like I said, and the it ties really smooth/easy compaired to other lines of equal value.  I just wasn't sure if anyone has tried their new product...  The Voltage line.

Haven't tried the Voltage.  I currently use Floroclear (green) in 6#, 8#, Floroclear (clear) in 10# and Halo in 6# and 8#.  I don't like the 8# in the clear.  It seemed to break too easy, but the 6# and 10# was fine.  The 8# in the green color doesn't give me the breaking issued that the clear did?

I prefer the Yo-Zuri over the Fluoroclear.   I also experienced too much premature breakage with the 5 and 6 lb test Fluoroclear.   Although, the 8lb was fine for me.  Maybe they have some QC issues?

I have not tried their new line, but I'd give it a shot.
