Anyone fished out here lately?  I'm heading out there Saturday after work.  I've only fished there once and caught a bunch of crappie, and no trout.  I'd like to catch a few tasty buggers along with those crappie.

I live close by and they were catching some good size trout the last couple weeks. Lake was high and stained with the recent rains but is clearing up. Most trout are being caught on power bait and minnows. I did talk to a couple guys yesterday that were having a good day throwing silver CP Swings. Good luck!!!

Thanks Pappy.  I'll have minnows and worms.  Happen to know what kind of powerbait?  How about the crappie bite?

I've have not fish it yet this year but I drove by a couple of times in the last couple of weeks. Seems like the trout fishing was good. Saw a lot of catches. Looked like a lot of powerbait being used but not sure. I may try to head out there this weekend also. Not sure if I can but am going to try.

I did not make it on Sunday. I was going to give it a shot in the morning time but I got stuck at home with some unexpected plans. May try to head out there sometime during the week.

I work until 2 today and then I'm heading out there regardless of what the weather is like.....unless it starts to lightning.
