yellow creek lake

trying to find out how much ice if any left on yellow creek lake and if the lake is canoe able at all?

    yeah about that winter report...what time was that given?@4:30 a.m.! cause there is not a chance on any lake from johnstown to cross creek. got to yellow this morn early (hour before sunlight)and covered, keystone covered, heremford manor covered, raccoon covered, cross creek...open water...wooohooo!

    I never realized yellow creek was up to 20 HP.  I usually make trips out to High Pt for the pike/pickerel and occasional bass (I toss big lures), but would like to explore Yellow Creek this spring and summer.  I understand that they've stopped musky stocking, but wonder if anyone has caught one out of there recently?  Does anyone of have a lake map/contour of the lake or just more general information they'd be willing to share?
