camera housing has water in it...

somehow my fishtv camera got water inside the lens area.  any suggestions how to fix, or if there's any place to take it to get it repaired in the Erie area?

It works fine, but the condensation makes it near impossible to see anything.  I tried to take it apart, but the lense covering seems to be epoxied on.  I couldnt' find anything about it anywhere on the internet.  I don't want to ruin it anymore than it already is by attempting any more myself.

Take it easy, killer. You don't have to be a DBag all the time. We get it. You don't respect people who use electronics. It's cool, can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Back on topic. Sorry to say, but I think your camera is scrap. You might want to call the manufacturer and see what they can do

hey jeep...before scrapping i would try to drill a small hole somewhere through the lens (if its plastic) where it will be as least bothersome as possible...drain water, store in a very warm very dry place with the hole upward so all the moisture escapes through the hole and then fill the hole with clear waterproof epoxy...it may not be the most professional repair but it should let you see again

I received similar suggestions from another source. Holes are already drilled, and it's drying out now.  It's 5 years old.  I'll know Tuesday if I need to start a new piggy bank.  If so, I'll still catch fish, maybe even more without it.  It sure is nice picking which fish to set the hook on.  The entertaining element is just a bonus.

put it in a bowl of dry rice. the rice will actually pull the moisture out.

If it were'nt for venitian blinds...it would be curtains for all of us!!
