CAR HELP

We have been haveing a hard time finding a good car for 1500-2000. I dont want to get into a payment b/c we have too many all ready lol. I'm looking for something that will not break down right away and that is inspected and will get me to work with no problem. If anyone has anything please help me out. I work alot of hrs and my wife dont know anything about cars so see cant go looking for one herself

    How soon do you need it? I will be upgrading my daughters car for college and will have something in that price range available.

    I have a 98 Pontiac Montana van I'd let go for $2k. Just over 100k miles.
