maybe this endless winter will finally end. it would be nice to see open water again.

    I'm done with this winter...I got ice jams and they are causing leaks in the house...I agree...melt, baby, melt...

    With the snow pack we have right now and some rain next week, I would predict the streams will be flowing.  You need to remember the ice will not melt that fast and there will be most likely an ice jam down at the mouths of the streams.

    15 below here this morning and I have to go pull the radiator out of the skidder today.

    Local pond had a small oval of open water when I drove by yesterday. Might have to go whack the first bass and gills of the season over the weekend.

    I was supposed to guide for pheasants last Monday but had to cancel because we couldn't find ice skaes that fit the Pointers.
     
    Rescheduled for next Wednesday.  Supposed to be 48.
