Crazy day of fishing!!
Fished the Susquehanna River(Snyder Co.) today from 3 til 6. I believe I caught just about every thing that swims in it! I caught 3 smallies(biggest was 20 inches), 3 walleye(biggest was 24 inches),1 carp(34 inches),4 suckers,2 chubbs, 2 fall fish, 1 catfish with 2 hooks in his mouth!(28 inches)and lastly a 25 inch Musky. All fish caught on the same jig.(went through 3 of them). All fish measured with a tape measure. It was cold and windy but who cares when you have a day like this. No one else brave enough to leave their homes to fish. Anybody else have a wild day like this??

no, I've not really had a day THAT good. but you've stoked my curiosity. Here in the upper alleghany -pike,trout and walleye would be a winter/early spring possibility. bass would be odd, muskies are hard to catch. but the habitat for each of these fish are so different! I've gotten a sneaky suspicion you are fishing warm water, like a power plant or something. Or are these very different predators all in some kind of deep hole or something? to have gotten so many big fish, so quickly is extraordinary. maybe I need to move to snyder county! agree that if you find luck, you in heaven. cause almost everywhere it doesn't seem like many people are fishing.

the Allegheny here in Franklin and French Creek have lots of ice flowing downstream, so a point source of warm water makes sense

Can anybody post a pic of a Fallfish ? Not sure what they look like or can be caught on. Gonna do a google search as well.

 Found this one on Yahoo image search.  Fallfish are the largest members of the Minnow family in the Northeast. Fallfish reach size typically between 12 to 18 inches long. They occur abundantly in the St. Lawrence River basin to Virginia, east of the Alleghanies. There prefered habitat is clear, swift streams, rock pools and in clear lakes. The male fallfish build a mounds of gravel often as large as 3 feet high and six feet wide to protect the eggs. Fallfish taste terrible but are caught and released by anglers. See what a little research can do for you ! Haha

I fish a river in WV where there are lots of fallfish. They get to a decent size. I've caught them up to 2 pounds and they will smash a lure or fly, especially on top.
