Yea, NHT could sell it for fertilizer to recoup $ spent on fountains, fences, and daily feces pressure washing.

I think that N.H. puts some tags in for 1rst day also, don't they Ed? BTW remember that Indian Lake, N.H. is closed for the month of March because it isn't in the early season program. Sad part is that it usualy thaws first around here. We have been trying to get it open for the people that live around there so that they don't have to drive as far to fish in March. But we need more public support. sam

I'm actually not really sure. They usually do but it all depends on the budget more than likely. Things change year by year. I'm going to stop by work sometime soon here and find out and i will let you guys know. I always do very well when they stock with Angelo's fish. Ed

Sounds like a good idea to open early.  I only fished the lake once last year but this thread has me itching to get out there.

+1, I wouldn't invest more than a tablespoon of gas getting there.

The one time I went last summer my buddy and I limited out on trout in the middle of summer in just a few hours.  I think they just stop biting......unless you have the secret recipe.

Like I said before, I usually fish it at least once a week because it was on my way home from work and I always done real good for trout with the exception of very late summer.

Anyone planning on heading here for opening day of trout?  Personally I'd like to be wading in a creek somewhere but if the gf decides to go I'm probably going to end up here.
