bluegill-a-palooza

hit acme dam this morning and again this afternoon. i lost count at around 30 gills. didn't get anything else. well. i haven't gotten anything other than gills since first ice there. not complaining.
only one other guy out there and he seemed to be banging them too. i drilled a total of 10 holes and caught fish out of all but 3. no certain spot or anything. the deep half of the lake has fish biting like mad. the shallow half doesn't. no special jig or bait. i'm pretty sure they would hit anything that goes down through that hole. like my depth finder. almost lost that little sucker more than once. i put all the fish back. most were in the 6" range but i did get a few that were considerably bigger. hit it up while it lasts.

I caught one bass around 12 inches there this ice fishing season. Only other thing I've caught other than all the gills.

kinda seems like there's a carpet of gills on the deep end. i keep hoping for some of the nice perch to hit but i just can't seem to find them.
