It doesn't matter to me.  I hunt 2B the first week of gun anyways.

If I didn't hunt 2B, I wouldn't be in favor of 1/3 of my doe season lost, but I could live with it, if it was best for the deer herd.w_w.

If it has fins and gills, I'm there.

Why are some of you guys so surprised to see such a rise in the number of hunters now in your areas.. ???

some of us have been saying FOR YEARS that is why there is so much complaining about "no deer up here means no hunters up here" .. the hunters are "down there" now chasing deer all day... has nothing to do with "up here now" .. less travel time and more hunters pushing deer...those of us seeing less "up here" have to realize the lack of other hunters has a part in seeing less deer period.. and I do not see many changes in that because of economy and good deer populations closer to home for many...

I never saw another hunter (except the ones I was with) this year while in the woods .. NONE !!!!

Not suprised Doc, just a mere observation.

The influx of hunters "down here" have brought a corresponding increase of slob hunters. Locally, a lot of land has been posted in the last few years for that reason. I think the result will be more hunters returning to "camp" areas in the upcoming years considering the rate at which accessible land is being lost down here.

Not much better up here..

lots of trespassers causing posted property that was never posted before..

and with less hunters on public land more are intentionally hunting private property where they see deer in the fields at night spotting... especially land that is not posted with signs but still private property...

next thing you know there's the NO Hunting sign and what you once had permission to hunt on .. now you don't... or more ofen lately -- the owner leases it to several guys for them to hunt on....

I'm not sure if I ever posted this here or not ..

At one of the PGC events I was invited to attend during the Q and A period a young boy asked if it was true that if the NO TRESSPASSING SIGN was "not signed by the owner" does that mean it was not legal and he could hunt there...

when told it DOES NOT have to be signed and he would still be trespassing he politely told the WCO that's not "what my Dad told me, he said we could hunt there because the sign was not legal".......

Will those hunters be returning to camp or will they be quitting like the 200K deer hunters that quit since 2000?

To be honest, I could care less what they do. Likely some will quit since it is easier to quit than to look for new properties to hunt.

Has to be better up there....Is there more "public ground" up there or in 2B?

lots of trespassers causing posted property that was never posted before..

Same here in 2B

and with less hunters on public land more are intentionally hunting private property where they see deer in the fields at night spotting... especially land that is not posted with signs but still private property...

This has been and will continue to happen until tresspass laws are enforced and fines increased.
