Carbon Clothing

I bought a Jacket and Pants from ScentBlocker that has the "carbon" in them.. I was told not to wash them or the carbon will come out.. My question was how important is it for me to buy one of the carbon bins to put them in or can i just put them into a garbage bag? Thanks, Ed

    Depends on the garbage bag, some are treated and some are purfumed, especially the small white ones for household use . Get the untreated ones, turn them inside out and hang outside for awhile and they should be fine. Stay away from the purfumed ones.
