Chapman Dam

Was wondering if anyone has ever fished the dam for the fishing tournament they have during winterfest? My buddies want me to meet them up there and was wondering if its worth going to.

    They normally do a good winter stocking with some big fish, mostly brookies. I would say it's worth it if you don't have a real long drive.

    They moved up the stocking from February to the day before Winterfest.

    We go every year...I see a lot of guys catching fish. Last year someone dropped one next to a team of sleddogs. Boy, was that ugly!

    I think it was just stocked recently, check the PFBC website.
