got skunked

just got home from the river, had the urge to fish this morning so flew up for a few hours. Went right to pineville parking lot, looked down toward the old bridge, not a sole around went back to the truck got suited up and headed back feeling very confident there would be some hook-ups. Brought two rods and a large variety of everything and I threw it all for three hours with not a bite. A guy came down with a baitcaster on a noodle rod with a float and caught a little guy and that was it, water is cold but at a great level thought for sure id get a few. Only saw two boat trailers and not alot of people, oh well got me out for a bit.
