Antietam Lake ice fishing

prior to Christmas and the tiny bit of snow, the ice was from 4-6 inches over most of the lake

be cautious where creeks come into the lake-----left and right of flag pole and the rear of the lake along Antietam Rd. below the dam.....

one day out with the kids---about 40 minutes-- a few perch
next day solo --- trout, perch, gills, crappie
a day or so after that --- plenty of gills, trout, plenty of perch, and a nice crappie

Hope everyone is having a nice early Ice Season.......

side note: ricks bait and tackle -- on Rt. 222, near Ontelaunee Lake is closed and the business is for sale

I put some early ice pics on my website

have fun and be safe
