Cross Creek update

Went out sunday the 26th in the morning.  i got on the ice about 9 and was off by 11 with my limit in gills.  Really nice looking fish and nice size on them, some were in the 9-10 inch range.  Caught a handful of crappie all about 1 inch to small.  Ice was about 4 inches of good solid clear ice, but that was down to the left of the boat ramp.  not to sure about ice to the right.  STAY AWAY FROM THE 3RD COVE ON THE RIGHT SIDE (if you know the lake it is the one with the huge tree that goes down into the water) THERE IS OPEN ICE IN THIS AREA.  IF YOU ARE STANDING ON THE PIER IT IS THE THIRD COVE ON YOUR RIGHT.  IT HAS BEEN OPEN FOR A WEEK NOW SO EVEN IF IT IS COVERED I WOULD BE VERY CAUTIOUS GOING OUT THERE.  THE OPEN WATER IS AT THE MOUTH OF THE COVE AND IT IS A PRETTY BIG AREA.
As always be safe and have fun

REMEMBER HOW MUCH FUN YOUR FIRST BIG ONE WAS. TAKE A KID FISHING
