Glendale Ice Fishermen

How the ice? its six inches in the main lake and its still way to thin to go up in mudlick. Slatelick and wycough is good.........And we are pounding the crappies in slatelick and at the breast........good luck and be safe men!!!!!! Merry Christmas...... 5 of us caught 132 Crappies the first night out ....if anyone wants to have a hard water tourny lets set it up for next friday night granted the ice is thick enough for everyones comfort

I'm new to the lake, I want to try the flag pole area. If you could give me some idea how to get to that spot it would be appreciated.

The ice on the wyerough side is good. There is ice on the other side as well, but it is not as thick. Some caution should be used.

The guys that catch walleye don't talk much. A few of my friends catch a few, along with a good amount of perch and crappie. Look for people with ice huts out in the middle of the lake. That is the best advice I have. I fish for northerns and bass with tip-ups. I fish shallow water so walleye are out.

Been catching lots of small bass, chain pickerel, and a few decent northerns. Nicest fish were 20 in. bass and a 25 in. Chain pickerel. Most of the fish were in the upper cove areas.

I don't fish the deep water and that is where the eyes are usually found. Most guys fish the main channel off of the Campground point, the channel out from the beaver valley boat launch, or the channel near the penninsula point up from the breast. Hope this is not spot burning just a general guide to a few areas. There is a lot of lake to fish. Haven't heard much on eyes, but there have been some crappie caught. Been real cold and windy here.

x2, we've been getting enough snow that the drag is getting harder, couple weeks ago it was just ice and sled wanted to go first and cleats were a must, hope we can stay away from the slush, one other thing for what its worth I seem to do better at nite.
