As far as hunting goes, a new scope for the 270. Its still got the serviceable, but inexpensive scope that I bought for it as a cash-strapped teen. Now that I'm a cash strapped adult its time to upgrade, right?

I'm thinking a Nikon Buckmaster. Love Nikon optics in cameras, and the price range is about right. Would like a higher priced Leupold, but I know thats not happening soon. Asked the better half for a Gander Mtn. or Cabelas gift card for x-mas so I could have some toward a new scope, but she bought me something else that she thought would be a better idea.

Prob wait till after xmas but on my list is a new video cam. Im lookin at the sony handycam. Looks like a nice camera. I got to play around with the HD version and really like it. I have a mini dvd one now and didnt relieze it was so outdated till playing around with the new ones.
