Fire and Ice - 1st Try

So I had this idea about trying to twist turkey and after some trial and error - I got it to work with the goal of trying something different. Everything pretty much went well until I started to loose patience at the end with the wing and finishing it all off. That's where I think everything fell apart. But anyway - this is my first try at some lane brain idea - trying to make turkey look like a flame. Maybe next time it'll get better with different colors and layout.  I just gotta show more patience sometimes.

Dude, thats sweet. I'll need to try that for some presentation flies.

if you've never checked it out, look at the Mustad Scandanavian Open winners. Some great looking flies.

The 2004 category 1 winner "frostbitten" is freaking gorgeous.

Looks like my '55 Chevy w/409, I had back in '65.
Nice, new "twist" on a fly recipe.
Your work causes envy in many of us. Keep it up.
