snow?

Its Mon the 13th and I may be up in a day or two. Havent been plowed out yet this year at my place in Richland. Do I need a plow guy after the recent warm snap. Too many conflicting snow reports listed to make up my mind without a real "eyes on the ground" guy to write back. Sorry about using the Forum for this.

thats what its here for retired. when i got up on friday the 4 foot that had fallen previously had shrunk to about 18 inches. by sunday afternoon with all the rain and warm temps on saturday there was only about 8-10 inches tops... now i believe its snowing as we speek though, so a plow may be necessary. good luck...

Thanks Dime , I have 4 wh. but am mostly concerned with the 'berm' along side the road., Its usually very wide and hard as a rock.
Might even try to fish for 10 or 15 minutes. If there is a path I might try a brown spot a guy told me about even though it was probably HOT a month ago- ya never know.

got it... a 4 wheel drive tractor is a great investment for owning property up there; especially if you go up a lot. you'll find your work is never done.

    Retired,
I apoligise, as I am way late on this reply.
Most of us have already been plowed 3-4 times last week.
Most of the snow last week fell in the syracuse are, etc...
But, we also got a lot in the Pulaski area and yours as well.
As of now, Sunday, we are not expecting much snow, just a lil here and there for the next week.
Best of luck and hope your hit'm good!

    Thanks Randy,
Came up Monday and Tuesday. When I left Tues evening it was 17 degrees but the sun was out.
From Mexico to darn near Albany heavy snow and whiteout Thrughway 25/35 mph. Wished I stayed another day.
Then I heard you guys got it Wednesday.

    Super!
Glad you made it around ok.
Temps this week are about normal.
lower to mid 20's up to around 30 degree's.
    Perfect Fishing Cond. :)
Just a light sprinkling of snow to none, forecast for the week.
    Best Holiday Fish's,
    Randy

P.S. The wade angler's trail network is all packed down and good.
From the L.F.Z. into the Bovine area :)
I'd guess the the DSR trail's are packed down also, for the most part.
I have not seen many wade angler's in-between, but, if you dont mind brecking trail, you could have some incredible fishing to freshies! (that just moved in after our last higher water, several weeks ago :)
    Best of luck,
    Randy

Here I go again-was planning a trip up late x-mas week with wife and  some grandkids and now the weathers starting to look lousy.
BTW- the light keeps falling off my deer rifle, any suggestions.

Mid to high 20s is game on for me. Keep watching the weather retired. Your little heat wave will come eventually. But don't be surprised if its beginning of February.

Will be up later this week, bringing the wife and a pile of grandkids who  want to X-country ski. Hope I can get a couple of hours for chrome.
