Drifts are over waste deep here..Gettin to old for this much snow...

Time to get yourself a set of snowshoes if you don't already have them...


I used to use them beaver trapping but they are pretty much a waste trying to slip around in the thickets, hemlocks, and brushy timbered areas where the deer take refuge in this kind of weather. I did have a fun but exausting afternoon in my white camo and got within 15 yds of several single deer before they knew I was there. The snow was mid-thigh in most areas with a few places knee deep and a few waist deep. Oh to be 40 again.
