Bonezee, yes estaz is my fail safe,go to pattern. Funny how the orange ones I was able to land. Also had hookups on white,peach and one on an olive bugger.

When times got tuff I have tried orange estaz.No luck though.Might have to down size my fly.Mine are a little larger than yours,What size hook are those woven on may I ask.Thanx.

12 and 14's , I want to make some size 18's with like one wrap around. Havent done it yet so I think I have a plan for tonight  Only take a few minutes to make some. The Deetz

It seems like the estaz should be presented on a smaller hook no matter what the color material is.Might have to downsize.Mine look like xmas tree ornaments.I will give it a try next time I tie.I will let you know how I do after Thanksgiving weekend.Maybe the burpitz go to fly.LOL!

looks like another great day for the deetz. and awsome pics as usual keep up the good work. ive been laid up trying to shake this sinus infection and cant get out so the pics really keep me entertained and enthused while waiting to get out thank you deetz and everybody else posting pics of what i am missing.

Nice pics buddy......especially the first one. Have not been able to wet a line since the last time we shared that drift. Keep the pics coming so I can go back at least in thought.

Hey Deetz, I ran into ya on 20 mile just above "beavers" fri. morning. I was the big guy with beard n pirates ball cap on. It was nice talkin to ya. Did you do any good that day? I only managed 2 more hook ups after talkin to ya.
