No Fishing For Me

Some of you guys may know I blew my elbow out in 2005 while Salmon Fishing.
Had Surgery last Oct. for tennis elbow (had 4 days of Salmon Fishing before the surgery). Anyhow it has been "worse" since the surgery.
Disapointment since they said 6-8 weeks I'd be 100%.
I started going to UPENN Ortho. in Philly about a month ago and they say there is a nerve trapped, and I still have tennis elbow.
Am wondering if I should find a lawyer @ this point.
Next Friday they're going to go in and free the nerve up, plus redo the tennis elbow.
I have given my spot up @ the LOSA event on the 27th. Wanted to be there to meet alot of you guys, but it's not going to happen.
With any luck this will help and I'll be ready for the fall runs of anything swims in the Tribs..
I have been tying a few flies every day for my wife & kids so they can fish under my guidence while I'm healing. We are all fly fishers by choice.
I will @ least be happy to get out & watch them catch a fish.

Man, I wish I could have seen that battle.  Must have been a hell of a fish.  Sorry to hear about the injury, though.

    Who?  The fish?

I think that's why the medical field still calls it "practicing"...

LOL. I guess what I meant to say was they are telling me the first surgery wasn't done right, and there is a need to go back and do it again.
The lawyer thing comes to mind as I sit here 6 months later still unable to work or fish because someone messed up. I have a family to support.

Was a nice fish. Was a fresh one. Lots of leaps! The first one got me. Wasn't ready. That Dirt Tuna did a job on me- that's for sure.

Yes it was a King. Funny- jumped like 6 times. One jump he actually landed up on the bank, then flopped around till he went back in the water. After that he found a deep hole & sulked for a good 20 min. before I could raise him. The fish was 41", and heavy. The second biggest I've caught. My elbow went backhand on his first hard run. I wasn't ready. Lighting a smoke, or something. Felt it get weak all of a sudden. Didn't hurt for a couple hours, then it sucked!
Really sucked fishing like that for the next 4 days, but we timed the run perfectly for once, and caught lots of fish.
I worked for a year with it all messed up too. Kids to feed, ya know?
    It's a neat story.
